Solutions Engineer – Pre-Sales Security

About the role

TrendAI, the global AI security business unit of Trend Micro, is looking for a Solutions Engineer based in the UAE. The role bridges Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers, guiding them through the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions. It is a trusted advisor role that takes joint ownership of customer relationships, provides leadership in security architecture and influences the customer's technical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers understand the product and its experience, and support them throughout onboarding and the product journey
• Build and train the sales organisation, acting as a strong storyteller so the sales team can sell more effectively
• Update internal sales staff regularly on new products and technologies, and share the latest product knowledge with the Regional and Global Product Managers and Product Marketing Manager
• Deliver technical demonstrations and present complex technical issues clearly to all levels of an organisation
• Train customers and prospects on Trend Micro solutions and work with technical support to ensure ongoing customer health
• Support channel partners and SOC/CSP/MSSP partners in proposing and positioning solutions, and contribute to departmental documentation and best practices

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality pre-sales support and solutions
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent public speaking is an added advantage
• A strong interest in cybersecurity and a passion for customer security

Required skills

• Knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics, cloud-native application security, SASE, CASB and Zero Trust is a key advantage
• Exposure to firewalls, content security, intrusion prevention, encryption, data leakage prevention and data protection is an added advantage
• Understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Google and AWS is an added advantage
