Spa Therapist

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Spa Therapist for its ReFIVE Spa in Dubai. The role delivers first-class spa treatments to guests, keeps the spa clean and tidy, and works closely with other departments and the marketing and sales teams. A fixed monthly salary of AED 2,400 is offered.

Key responsibilities

• Perform treatments to the highest professional standards, ensuring guest comfort and punctuality, and review appointments after each treatment
• Keep work areas impeccably clean and tidy, and report faulty equipment to the Spa Manager
• Manage inventory of supplies for treatment rooms, using only luxury products
• Answer guest questions about spa and hotel matters, handle complaints promptly and professionally, and update guests on hotel amenities, services and local attractions
• Collaborate with departments such as Concierge and Front Desk, and promote spa services and packages with Marketing and Sales
• Assist in training and mentoring new therapists, and attend daily, weekly and monthly spa meetings
• Help with demonstrations and events, and assist in the relaxation area and reception when needed

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school with a massage, face and manicure/pedicure license, or a combination license
• 2-3 years of experience as a Spa Therapist is a plus, preferably in award-winning establishments
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, with impeccable communication skills

Required skills

• Understanding of spa operations and industry applications, including spa software, is a plus
• Compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures
