Specialist Consultant Cardiac Surgeon (Saudi Board)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical management.
• Perform cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass and valve surgery.
• Manage pre‑operative, operative, and post‑operative patient care.
• Monitor patients after surgery and address post‑operative complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide clinical consultation for complex cardiac cases and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff as required.

Required profile

• Saudi Board Certification in Cardiac or Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Valid medical registration in Saudi Arabia or current country of practice.
• Relevant clinical experience in cardiac surgery with strong operative and post‑operative management skills.
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing, subject to health authority assessment.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
