Specialist Consultant Visceral Surgeon (Saudi Board)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Visceral Surgeon with a Saudi Board qualification to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized surgical treatment plans for complex abdominal and gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency visceral and abdominal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and open techniques.
• Provide comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care and manage surgical emergencies and complications.
• Coordinate care with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.

Required profile

• Saudi Board Certification in Visceral Surgery, General Surgery, or a recognized related specialty.
• Valid medical registration in the country of practice and eligibility for UAE medical licensing.
• Significant clinical and surgical experience in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.
• Strong expertise in managing conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, and other abdominal organs.
• Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and decision‑making skills.
