Specialist Critical Care Physician – UAE

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity ICU services. The organisation seeks an experienced Specialist Critical Care Physician to deliver advanced intensive‑care management to a diverse patient population in a modern, tax‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Provide organ support including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support and sepsis management.
• Perform critical‑care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists and allied health professionals.
• Support ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audits, simulation training, quality‑improvement and patient‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally trained critical care physician with relevant board certification or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in intensive‑care medicine, ICU management and acute‑care settings.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
