Specialist Engineer (Reliability)

About the role

The Specialist Engineer (Reliability) will support the SMS Reliability Analysis Services Project for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on interpreting asset performance data, conducting RAM analyses, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis for plant systems and equipment across ADNOC assets.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, and Availability using data from SAP, Maximo, and other validated sources.
• Develop, validate, and optimize equipment‑specific maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programs using RCM, FMEA/FMECA, and asset criticality assessments.
• Facilitate and lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and provide structured recommendations to prevent recurrence of failures.
• Review and re‑engineer existing preventive maintenance history and execution data to improve effectiveness and alignment with field practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in RAM analysis, reliability measurement, RCA facilitation, FMEA/RCM, PM optimization, and asset criticality, preferably with ADNOC or other major operators.
• Offshore experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Corrosion, Metallurgy, Process or related engineering field.
