Specialist - Environmental Services

About the role

The Specialist - Environmental Services coordinates, inspects and follows up on daily delivery of soft services in a mall environment, ensuring compliance with SLAs, hygiene standards and customer experience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily soft FM services including cleaning, waste management, landscaping and pest control, conducting routine inspections and audits.
• Coordinate and monitor outsourced vendors, address performance deficiencies and support procurement and contract renewals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire safety, COSHH, environmental and statutory requirements in partnership with HSE and operations teams.
• Serve as primary contact for soft FM issues, manage stakeholder relationships and handle complaints and escalations.
• Maintain job tracking logs, service reports, inspection checklists and vendor performance evaluations, and support budget tracking and cost‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field.
• FM certifications such as BIFM/IWFM, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in soft FM operations within malls, hotels or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of FM standards, HSE regulations and sustainability measures.
