Specialist, Financial Communications

About the role

The Specialist, Financial Communications supports ADNOC Distribution's investor relations and corporate communications. The role develops and delivers clear, accurate and timely financial content to investors, shareholders, media and other stakeholders, covering press materials, regulatory filings, media relations and crisis communication, while supporting investor events.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and manage the release of earnings releases, investor presentations, annual reports and regulatory filings, aligned with company communication guidelines and brand standards
• Support messaging documents, speeches, Q&A documents and fact sheets, and assist in translating financial content between English and Arabic
• Collaborate with external agencies on investor materials, including ESG and corporate governance reports
• Build relationships with financial media, draft press releases, respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews with spokespeople
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, and align media messaging with corporate strategy
• Assist in crisis communication plans, prepare timely materials during crises and support training on crisis protocols
• Support investor events: logistics, content, materials and media coordination, and collect and analyse investor feedback

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, finance, business administration or a related field
• 8 years of experience in financial communication, digital and social media marketing and advertising
• Experience in oil and gas or retail is preferable
• Proven ability to work under pressure, especially during earnings releases or crises
• Experience with cross-functional teams and external agencies in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment

Required skills

• Strong experience drafting financial content and managing media relations
• Familiarity with regulatory disclosure requirements and financial reporting cycles
