Specialist Oral & Dental Surgeon – Western Qualified (CCT)

About the role

A leading hospital in the UAE seeks an experienced Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon with strong expertise in diagnosing and surgically managing complex oral, dental, and maxillofacial conditions. The role involves managing a broad range of surgical and dental cases, providing comprehensive patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex oral, dental, and surgical conditions.
• Perform a range of oral and dental surgical procedures, including complex tooth extractions, impacted teeth, oral infections, cysts, and other conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, ENT specialists and other medical professionals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic investigations.

Required profile

• Medical/Dental degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, or a relevant specialty.
• American Board, UK CCT/CCST, or equivalent recognized Western qualification.
• Established specialist/consultant‑level clinical experience in a leading hospital or tertiary care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, surgical and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
