Specialist Rotating Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Rotating Engineer will act as the technical authority for all rotating equipment on a major LNG project, overseeing design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up. The role ensures that equipment meets project specifications, international standards, company procedures and client requirements while supporting safe and efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering of rotating equipment across FEED, detailed design, EPC, construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up phases.
• Validate that design, installation, testing and commissioning are performed in line with specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support to the PMC team and act as the primary liaison with EPC contractors, vendors and the client.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability and performance criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces to guarantee seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s or Chartered Engineer status is a plus).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG or Petrochemical projects.
• At least 10 years focused on rotating equipment engineering and 5 years in a PMC environment.
• Proven experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up.
• Track record on large LNG or gas‑processing projects; ADNOC experience preferred.
