Specialist Smart Plant Engineer - Greenfield

About the role

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking an experienced Specialist Smart Plant Engineer to support a major offshore greenfield project. The role will be based at the client’s or contractor’s office in Abu Dhabi and focuses on implementing Hexagon SmartPlant solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SmartPlant applications (Foundation, P&ID, Instrumentation, Electrical, 3D, Review).
• Configure project environments, workflows, user access, and security roles in line with ADNOC Offshore standards.
• Support engineering teams during FEED and EPC phases, developing data models, templates, libraries, and standards.
• Ensure accurate engineering data capture and consistency across disciplines.
• Integrate SmartPlant with SAP, AVEVA tools, document management systems, engineering data warehouses, and asset information management systems.
• Establish data governance procedures and guarantee compliance with ADNOC data quality requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Hexagon SmartPlant suite on offshore greenfield projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and digital handover processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering data management across FEED, EPC, commissioning and handover phases.
