Specialist – Taxation (Emiratized)

About the role

The Specialist Taxation Emiratized role is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of VAT/GST compliance across the FAB Group. You will collect, review and consolidate monthly VAT data, prepare group VAT returns and ensure timely tax payments in line with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review and consolidate monthly VAT data and prepare FAB Group VAT returns.
• Perform monthly transactional review and reconciliation for AOV submissions.
• Support tax‑related system enhancements by working with business stakeholders.
• Ensure tax payments are made, journal entries posted and reconciled according to group policies.
• Assist with indirect tax data collection from international branches and coordinate audit‑related activities.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in Accounting or Tax (first or second degree) and a professional tax qualification.
• Minimum 3 + years banking experience and at least 2 + years in indirect tax (VAT/GST) compliance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of tax accounting systems.
• Experience with VAT/GST compliance processes.
