About the role
Rixos, a hotel group established in 2000 in Turkey, is hiring a Speciality Chef (Kitchen Artist) for its property in Ras Al-Khaimah. The role focuses on creating and presenting specialty dishes, developing new recipes and training kitchen staff.
Key responsibilities
- Create and present specialty dishes
- Develop new recipes and seasonal offerings
- Train and mentor kitchen staff
- Ensure hygiene and quality standards
- Maintain sustainable practices, including resource efficiency, waste minimisation and eco-friendly, social and ethical initiatives, in line with the hotel's ESG and CSR objectives
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, ISO standards and industry best practices
- Oversee food safety and hygiene across purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication and preparation
Required profile
- Culinary certification
- Expertise in specialty cuisine
- Commitment to sustainability and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
