Static and Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Static & Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead the execution, installation, commissioning and reliability of critical mechanical equipment on large‑scale Oil & Gas EPC projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify engineering drawings, datasheets, specifications and vendor documentation for rotating and static equipment.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and startup of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, generators, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and related mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, client specifications, international standards and industry codes.
• Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, technical risk studies and provide engineering solutions.
• Monitor alignment, laser shaft alignment, balancing and vibration acceptance criteria, and witness performance tests.
• Analyze equipment performance, conduct RCFA and support predictive and preventive maintenance programmes.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of mechanical engineering experience, with at least 5 years on rotating/static equipment in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power generation or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in installation, testing, commissioning and startup of the listed equipment.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments, preferably on GCC/Middle East or ADNOC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
