Station Agent – Dubai Metro

About the role

The Station Agent ensures a safe, reliable and customer‑focused environment at Dubai Metro stations. This front‑line position represents the metro brand, assists passengers and supports station operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor station operational status, manage passenger flow and control overcrowding on platforms.
• Conduct controlled, uncontrolled and emergency evacuations, and enforce safety procedures.
• Provide ticket sales, train information, respond to enquiries and assist People of Determination.
• Deliver announcements via audio/visual systems and manage fare gate directions.
• Distribute publicity material, handle lost property and support passengers during engineering works or special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a frontline customer‑service role within a metro station or similar environment.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills; ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and understanding of station operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering clear audio/visual passenger announcements.
• Ability to manage fare gate systems and monitor station safety equipment.
