About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Steward in Dubai. The role covers keeping the hotel's kitchen equipment, utensils and workspaces impeccably clean and sanitary, supporting the culinary and service teams, and helping guests with special requests. The group operates across hospitality, entertainment, real estate and more.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen equipment, utensils and workspaces clean and sanitary, meeting FIVE-star standards
• Support the culinary and service teams by supplying clean dishes, glassware, silverware and other items on time
• Handle waste and garbage disposal according to established guidelines
• Maintain a hygienic, orderly environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events
• Help coordinate special requests and deliver personalised guest experiences
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the Team Leader or Supervisor promptly
• Follow procedures for handling and storing equipment and supplies, and take part in training sessions
• Support inventory counts and stock rotation, and anticipate guests' needs

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Good knowledge of Forbes Standards is an advantage
• Fluent English; proficiency in multiple languages preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects and work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Prompt arrival, adherence to grooming standards and a polished appearance
