Steward – Kitchen Support

About the role

The Steward provides essential kitchen support across multiple hotel departments, ensuring clean and ready dining ware, maintaining equipment, and transporting dishware efficiently. This role is vital for smooth food‑and‑beverage operations and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare linen, dining ware, and kitchen tools for guest use.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and other cleaning equipment.
• Transport dishware between kitchen, dining areas, and employee dining rooms.
• Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs and incidents.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards and communicate clearly.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, bending, twisting, and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
