Storekeeper - Warehouse and Stores

About the role

Al Zaher General Facilities Supply (ZAT) is looking for a full-time, on-site Storekeeper based in Abu Dhabi. The role manages the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and stores, working closely with purchasing, logistics and other internal teams to keep supplies available.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods, unload deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders
• Organize materials in designated storage areas and monitor stock levels
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic stock counts
• Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring proper packing and labeling
• Operate material-handling equipment where needed, following safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of supplies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in logistics, warehousing or supply chain is beneficial
• Experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles within supply, logistics or hospitality is preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, communicate clearly with team members and follow standard operating procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Required skills

• Inventory control and management, including stock tracking, record keeping and regular stock audits
• Packing and unloading, with safe handling of goods and correct packaging methods
• Forklift operation or other material-handling equipment skills; relevant certifications are an advantage
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems, documentation tools and email; familiarity with ERP or warehouse management software is an advantage
