Student Recruitment and Admissions Specialist

About the role

Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Student Recruitment and Admissions Specialist. The role implements student recruitment plans to meet undergraduate recruitment targets, covering admission criteria, application processing and the outreach plan. It works closely with the Student Recruitment and Admissions Senior Specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Process qualified student applications and work with the Senior Specialist on the recruitment process.
• Evaluate academic records of applicants and document Admissions Committee decisions and offers in the university record system and databases.
• Develop reports and presentations on university services and current student statistics for the Director of Enrollment.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed for UAE nationals and international students, and keep student records and admissions information up to date.
• Monitor request tracker queues, follow up on enquiries and missing documents, and handle application, scholarship and general enquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Assist applicants with the online application process, prepare campus tours and arrange recruitment sessions in schools across the UAE.
• Plan and attend outreach events, manage potential applicant inquiries and emails, and maintain the recruitment database securely.
• Collaborate with departments on recruitment event logistics, student onboarding and the transfer of information to the Registrar, and follow information security and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Management or a related field.
• Expatriates: a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; UAE nationals: a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Commitment to a safe and healthy work environment and willingness to perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
