Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Acino, a pharmaceutical company part of Arcera, is looking for a Supply Chain Planner in Dubai. The role covers end-to-end supply chain planning and execution, including production and supply planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management and compliance reporting, so that products are consistently available and operations run efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Production planning: develop production plans from demand forecasts, inventory levels and capacity; issue production orders and schedule them according to sales needs; hold a weekly production meeting with all departments
• Supply planning: review forecasts and confirmed orders from tender, institution, export customers and CMO partners; run MRP for raw materials, packaging materials and semi-finished goods; coordinate deliveries and lead times with CFTs and follow materials from delivery to release with QC and QA
• Inventory management: regular inventory checks and analysis, coordination with Finance on monthly inventory provisions, and regular near-expiry follow-up
• Compliance: comply with EHS policy and identify regulatory requirements for importing and exporting APIs, excipients, chemicals and standards
• Reporting: prepare monthly MBR reports (OTIF, forecast accuracy, back-orders, scrapping, write-offs, landing cost, inventory ageing and value, months of coverage), revenue outlook, department meeting reports, purchase analysis, MOHAP data, 12-month material availability, month-on-month inventory optimization, 3-month production and material availability report and back-order report to the demand team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operations, logistics or a related field
• At least 3 years of supply chain experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Ability to work independently in a matrix organization and multicultural environment
