Systems and Compliance Tax Manager

About the role

The Systems and Compliance Tax Manager will oversee the Group's tax systems, processes, controls and compliance across all divisions. The role ensures that tax technology is efficient, aligns with the future Tax Tech Strategy and supports the Tax Director in delivering accurate and timely tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Tax Director in managing tax systems, controls and procedures for the Group.
• Review and ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting standards in collaboration with the Head of Direct & Indirect Tax.
• Coordinate tax system improvements, automation initiatives and the implementation of the Tax Technology Roadmap.
• Compile and submit annual tax filings (Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, Zakat, etc.) according to country‑specific calendars.
• Manage tax provisions, supervise tax balances in the general ledger and maintain a central repository of tax system documentation.
• Lead ERP transition projects to SAP S/4HANA and act as the tax system lead.
• Provide training, workshops and support during direct and indirect tax audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ATT) is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax roles, with at least 3‑5 years in tax system implementation.
• Knowledge of GCC tax regulations is an advantage.
• Proven experience leading SAP tax implementations and ERP transitions.
