Talent Acquisition Lead (Remote)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm that is expanding into the hedge fund space. As a Talent Acquisition Lead, you will work directly with C‑suite executives to shape the hiring strategy and bring top‑tier talent into a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for trading, research, engineering, and support functions.
• Develop role briefs and sourcing strategies using finance networks and crypto‑native communities.
• Source, engage, and assess candidates through direct outreach, referrals, and non‑traditional channels.
• Enhance interview processes to evaluate technical expertise and cultural fit.
• Partner with leadership on hiring plans, market intelligence, and compensation benchmarking.
• Manage external recruitment partners, platforms, and tools.
• Track recruiting metrics to continuously improve hiring performance.

Required profile

• 6+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in hedge funds, prop‑trading, or crypto‑trading firms.
• Proven success hiring traders, researchers, and portfolio managers; crypto market exposure is a plus.
• Experience recruiting technical talent is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of trading and research talent markets, compensation structures, and competitive dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data‑driven approach to recruiting and process improvement.
