Talent Acquisition Specialist - Technical Recruitment, Middle East

About the role

IOTA GROUP, an international company providing technical assistance and recruitment of skilled professionals for major projects in the Oil & Gas, energy, power, industrial construction and infrastructure sectors, is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist for its Middle East Business Unit in Dubai. You will recruit technical and specialized professionals for clients' projects across the Middle East, working closely with Business Development Managers and the Head of Talent Acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and challenge recruitment needs, prioritizing requests by client projects and business priorities, and advise stakeholders on candidate availability and market conditions
• Define sourcing strategies per position, using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and databases, and conduct active headhunting and passive candidate engagement
• Build and maintain talent pools by discipline, country, client and project type, and a network of technical professionals across the Middle East
• Screen candidates, assess their technical background, experience, mobility and expectations, and present qualified candidates to operational teams
• Draft and publish job ads, record activities in SmartRecruiters, track KPIs and take part in recruitment reviews

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience
• At least five years of experience in technical or industrial recruitment
• Proven experience in a technical assistance company, engineering consultancy, international manpower provider or recruitment agency serving heavy industries
• Strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas, energy, power, industrial construction or process industries; previous Middle East recruitment experience strongly preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional regional languages are an advantage
