Technical Office Manager / Technical Engineer

About the role

Abu Alnaga Contracting and Development is looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Office Manager / Technical Engineer with a strong architectural background. The ideal candidate has solid technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills and experience managing architectural drawings, project documentation and technical office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings and construction details.
• Manage technical office activities and ensure timely submission of project documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Review technical specifications, material submittals and method statements.
• Ensure drawings and documentation comply with project requirements and authority regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to architectural works.
• Manage document control, revisions and technical correspondence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing and construction methods.
• Experience in shop drawings, technical submittals and consultant coordination.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of other design software is an advantage.
