Tender Compliance Officer – UAE National

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is looking for a detail‑oriented Tender Compliance Officer who is an UAE national to join its Dubai team. The role ensures that all procurement activities comply with UAE regulations, company policies and international best practices, supporting audit and risk mitigation functions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse procurement transactions for compliance with UAE laws, local regulations and internal policies.
• Develop, implement and maintain procurement compliance frameworks, SOPs and related documentation.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments of procurement processes, vendor management and contract administration.
• Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
• Identify compliance gaps, recommend corrective actions and support procurement teams in remediation.
• Coordinate with internal audit functions for compliance reviews and investigations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date compliance documentation in line with regulatory changes.
• Provide guidance and training to procurement staff on compliance requirements.
• Manage vendor compliance verification and maintain vendor compliance records.
• Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies on procurement‑related matters.
• Analyse procurement contracts for legal and regulatory compliance before execution.
• Track and report on key compliance metrics and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement compliance, regulatory compliance or related functions.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE procurement regulations, local compliance standards and federal requirements.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management and vendor management.
• Experience conducting compliance audits, risk assessments and monitoring activities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Advanced organisational and time‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using procurement management software.
• Familiarity with compliance management tools.
