Training Specialist – Security (Aircrew)

About the role

Join the Emirates Group Security team as a Training Specialist focused on aircrew security. You will design, develop and deliver security training for flight and cabin crew, ensuring compliance with international regulations and fostering a strong security culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver security training courses for flight and cabin crew in line with Operations Manuals, ICAO Annex 17, IOSA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training needs analysis, review and update course materials, and evaluate training effectiveness using post‑course assessments.
• Manage trainer performance, provide regular observations, feedback and annual reviews, and ensure trainer qualifications are maintained.
• Collaborate with Group Security, Flight Operations, Safety, Medical and other stakeholders to align training with operational needs.
• Identify and lead security‑related projects, contribute to budget planning and ensure timely delivery within budget.

Required profile

• Attested degree or honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation or general security, preferably with flight/cabin crew training.
• Strong knowledge of international security regulations, aircrew safety and emergency procedures.
• Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Business writing and reporting abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills for interpreting operational data.
