Unit Manager – Operating Theatre Complex

About the role

The Unit Manager will lead the nursing team within the Operating Theatre Complex, ensuring patient‑centric, evidence‑based care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices align with clinical standards.
• Develop employees and create an environment that promotes team engagement and positive patient experiences.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to enhance safe patient care.
• Monitor compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards for continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required); Master’s preferred.
• 3‑5 years senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• Demonstrated ability to apply the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Quality management and governance standards.
• Risk management principles and systems.
• Stock control principles and management.
• Understanding of UAE healthcare regulatory framework.
