Vice President – Landscape

About the role

The Vice President – Landscape will lead Aldar’s high‑end landscaping programmes, ensuring design excellence, sustainability and alignment with the company’s luxury brand. This senior role works closely with senior leadership, design consultants and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of landscape projects, guaranteeing compliance with Aldar’s design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with landscape design consultants to ensure drawing submittals meet ICP criteria and project requirements.
• Track project progress, flag risks or delays and provide timely escalations to senior management.
• Promote sustainable design practices such as water‑efficiency, native planting and eco‑friendly materials.
• Conduct site visits to monitor implementation, identify issues and propose value‑engineering solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of landscape design and project‑management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Design; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale luxury residential and commercial landscape projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of local regulations and sustainability frameworks (AD 2030, UPC, Estidama).

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and the Adobe Suite.
• LEED certification or equivalent sustainable‑design accreditation.
• Strong understanding of landscape planning, value engineering and cost management.
