About the role

BeatBAB is a hospitality concept combining tapas, expressive drinks and an analog listening culture, described as a cultural platform where food, drink and music form one continuous mood. The Waiter/Waitress delivers an exceptional dining experience in an upscale restaurant environment, requiring refined service skills, strong product knowledge and adherence to fine dining etiquette.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, personalised service with a professional and polished demeanour, anticipating guest needs and offering thoughtful recommendations.
• Guide guests through the menu, covering ingredients, preparation techniques and wine pairings, and perform tableside preparations such as carving, flambé or dessert presentations.
• Set up tables meticulously, placing silverware, glassware and china correctly, and take orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen.
• Coordinate closely with colleagues and kitchen staff to keep service smooth and well paced, and handle guest feedback with grace.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality Management or Customer Service certificate.
• Previous experience as a waiter in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of fine dining service standards, menu items and wine pairings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
