AC & Refrigeration Technician – Hotel Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an AC & Refrigeration Technician to join our hotel engineering team in Dubai. The role involves handling multiple maintenance requests, breakdowns and operational requirements while ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications and UAE regulations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and conduct pressure testing, leak detection and refrigerant recovery.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, provide timely solutions and minimise equipment downtime.
• Monitor HVAC and refrigeration equipment during shifts, document all work and ensure safe handover to the next shift.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments for complex installations and support other engineering disciplines as needed.

Required profile

• ITI (2 years) or Diploma (3 years) in HVAC & Refrigeration (required).
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as manifold gauges, multimeters and refrigerant recovery equipment.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and system documentation.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to multiple job sites.
