Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash‑flow management, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and post to the general ledger.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist during audits.
• Process payroll and related statutory filings, where applicable.
• Review and verify financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline (ACCA/CIMA/CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management reporting within a structured finance function.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of SAP for financial reporting.
• Experience with SAP BW for data extraction and budget/actual uploads.
