Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the role

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will provide professional service to internal stakeholders and support the Financial Controller in managing the hotel’s finance operations. This role ensures accurate processing of supplier invoices and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Match authorised purchase orders and delivery dockets to supplier invoices, verifying calculations and extensions.
• Review invoice coding, ensure receipt and approval evidence, and post to the Accounts Payable ledger.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain the subsidiary AP ledger against the general ledger daily.
• Prepare payment schedules, process cheques and electronic transfers, and ensure optimal use of credit facilities and discounts.
• Maintain orderly filing of paid and unpaid invoices and manage manual cheque logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role, preferably in hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and supervise AP operations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting systems.
