AI Industry Investment Analyst – Unquoted Markets Focus

About the role

We are seeking a technically grounded AI Industry Investment Analyst to lead research on unquoted and private deep‑tech AI opportunities and translate them into public‑market comparable insights. The role combines AI‑enabled research workflows with deep commercial underwriting across the AI and 4IR ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate scalability, inference costs, deployment economics, and business models of AI‑native companies and adjacent sectors.
• Distinguish hype from durable economic advantage and produce rigorous investment memos.
• Assess private AI opportunities, identify valuation gaps, and map them to public market comparables.
• Build and maintain repeatable diligence frameworks, monitoring dashboards, and audit trails for all outputs.
• Track regulatory, partnership, talent, and market shifts; surface differentiated theses and risk alerts.

Required profile

• 7–15 years of experience in tech investing, AI‑focused research, deep‑tech VC, or AI product/strategy with commercial exposure.
• Strong financial modeling and memo‑writing capabilities.
• Daily fluency with AI‑enabled research tools and structured workflows.
