Android Developer (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Android Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality Android applications. This part‑time, fully remote position works closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver reliable mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Implement responsive UI that follows Android design guidelines.
• Integrate REST APIs, third‑party services and backend systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Write and maintain unit tests and other automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and release planning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience collaborating with remote, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Kotlin and/or Java.
• Android SDK and Android Studio.
• REST APIs and JSON handling.
• Git and version‑control workflows.
• Mobile performance optimization and debugging.
• Automated testing and application security best practices.
