Architectural Draftsman

About the role

Careers International is hiring an Architectural Draftsman in Dubai. The draftsman prepares detailed architectural drawings and coordinates with architects and engineers to keep them accurate, working full time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and layouts using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Modify and update drawings according to comments, site requirements and design changes.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authorities, codes and standards.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings as required.
• Take part in project coordination meetings when needed.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and material specifications if required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman; UAE experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Immediate joiner required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction details and materials.
