Assistant Associate Professor in Technology and Law

About the role

The College of Law at Abu Dhabi University is seeking a new Faculty Member at the level of Assistant Professor in Technology and Law; Associate Professor will be considered in special cases. The college offers a Bachelor of Law, Masters in Public Law, Private Law and Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, and a PhD in Law, with programmes accredited by CAA and WASC. Applicants should be able to teach in English and Arabic, though English-only applicants are also encouraged.

Required profile

• Assistant Professor: a doctorate or equivalent from an accredited institution, significant scholarly accomplishments, at least three years of full-time teaching and research experience with key publications, and excellent teaching ability.
• Associate Professor: at least eight years of full-time teaching and research experience with key publications; top-10 Scopus papers listed with a five-line explanation of each.
• Teaching qualification, or willingness to complete one under the UK HEA Fellowship Scheme.
• Demonstrated commitment to publishing Scopus publications and clear engagement with research networks.
