Assistant Director of Sales - Leisure & Consortia

About the role

Conrad Dubai is looking for an Assistant Director of Sales - Leisure & Consortia to support the Director of Sales in driving strategic sales initiatives and maximising revenue across rooms, meetings and events, and food and beverage. The role develops the Leisure and Consortia segments and strengthens the hotel's market presence, helping create the foundations for exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted sales activities, meeting existing and prospective clients off-site to meet budgets, revenue goals, KPIs and strategic objectives.
• Position Conrad Dubai as a preferred luxury destination for Leisure & Consortia in the UAE, across local, regional and international markets.
• Cultivate client relationships through sales calls, tailored presentations, client entertainment, property tours, site inspections, familiarisation trips, networking events and business dinners.
• Attend trade shows, sales roadshows, exhibitions and industry events to generate qualified leads and uncover new business.
• Lead the active management and development of assigned markets and accounts, nurturing strategic partnerships.
• Research market trends and competitors to build a healthy sales pipeline and secure new accounts.
• Support revenue strategies, including market demand, competitive positioning, pricing and business mix, and identify function and event space opportunities linked to room requirements.
• Review sales proposals and contracts against hotel standards and agreed approval processes.
• Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales and regional and global sales teams to generate leisure enquiries and expand international reach.
• Keep account records, customer databases, account development plans and sales activity reports accurate and up to date.
• Attend sales meetings and performance reviews, give strategic updates to the Director of Sales and lead internal meetings when required.
• Follow hotel policies, health and safety, hygiene and fire safety protocols, and take on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
