Assistant General Manager – Luxury Restaurant

About the role

As Assistant General Manager at Ling Ling, you will support the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily operations, profitability, and guest experience at a world‑class luxury venue within Atlantis The Royal.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding guest service by maintaining high standards, product knowledge, and a welcoming environment.
• Recruit, train, develop, and regularly assess team members, including conducting annual performance reviews.
• Implement and uphold brand service standards, handle guest complaints, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain merchandising, display, and inventory standards while promoting new products and promotions.
• Control financials, staffing, facilities, marketing, food preparation, and overall business operations.
• Conduct quarterly menu engineering and manage guest feedback systems.
• Prepare sales and expense projections to set realistic profit targets.
• Plan staffing levels and schedules to ensure efficient restaurant operation.
• Resolve conflicts with guests, peers, and direct reports and address operational issues proactively.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Previous international experience is preferred.
• Strong team‑leadership abilities and a high level of customer focus.
• Ability to work under pressure with a hands‑on management style.
