Assistant Manager - Accounting and Finance

About the role

The position leads and manages small to medium sized accounting and finance projects, delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients. You will act as an ambassador for the firm, liaising with clients and supervising junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project work‑streams, including data analysis, report drafting and client meetings.
• Own deliverables with minimal supervision and ensure timely completion of work plans, timelines and resource allocation.
• Identify risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to achieve client goals.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive learning culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA).
• Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a Big‑Four audit or advisory environment.
• Experience in the MENA market and knowledge of industry sectors such as Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services or Public sector.

Required skills

• Extensive technical accounting experience with IFRS and IPSAS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Visio, Blueworks and Aries.
