Assistant Manager Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Logistics to lead a high‑volume fleet across multiple distribution sites. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager and cross‑functional teams to ensure fast, reliable delivery for our hyper‑local platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the assigned fleet across a high‑volume cluster (6‑8 distribution sites), meeting target KPIs.
• Oversee Fleet Managers in daily operations and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Allocate manpower across stores and support teams to achieve optimal performance.
• Mentor team members, address issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with analysis and implementation of best practices.
• Coordinate ad‑hoc cross‑functional projects and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience managing a team.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and roll up sleeves when needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
