Forklift Operator

About the role

We are looking for a safety‑focused Forklift Operator to join Zahr Freighters’ warehouse team in Dubai. The successful candidate will handle the movement of goods, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain an organized, clean, and secure work environment in a fast‑paced freight setting.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload and relocate goods within the warehouse.
• Transport materials to designated storage locations and assist with inventory stacking.
• Inspect forklifts before and after each shift to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow all safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures.
• Support warehouse staff with shipping, receiving and inventory record‑keeping.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse area.

Required profile

• Valid forklift operator certification or licence.
• 2–3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
