Associate – Category Sourcing & Global Supply Chain

About the role

The Associate will work within the Category Sourcing Chapter, supporting strategic procurement activities and the global sourcing and supply chain function. The role collaborates closely with the Strategic Procurement team, demand planning, and various business stakeholders to drive cost savings, ensure compliance, and deliver sustainable procurement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the MTN Category Sourcing framework in line with CoE and POD Global Leads.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning to contribute to forecasting and demand plan creation for assigned categories.
• Conduct market research on supply market structure, pricing, and emerging trends to inform category strategies.
• Manage end‑to‑end RFx processes, including scope definition, supplier selection, evaluation, and documentation.
• Negotiate with suppliers, challenge pricing, and drive cost‑effective agreements.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and Business Requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic category principals.
• Liaise with supplier performance and contract management teams to transition RFx outcomes into contracts.
• Support sprint planning, strategy development, and creation of standard SCM reports.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in strategic procurement, category management, or supply chain functions.
• Project‑management orientation with the ability to meet defined timelines.
