Associate DevOps Engineer - Remote

About the role

A remote Associate DevOps Engineer position based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. The role covers cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Deploy, monitor and support containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Monitor platform performance, availability and security using Datadog.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
• Support infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Troubleshoot production issues and take part in incident management.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability and security best practices, and contribute to platform engineering initiatives and internal developer tooling.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with Datadog for monitoring, observability and alerting.
• Exposure to Platform Engineering concepts and developer platform tooling.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and networking fundamentals, and Git version control best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
