Information Technology Officer

About the role

Al Zorah Beach Resort in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is undergoing a transformation into Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah, set to open in 2028. As an IT Officer you will support the day-to-day technology needs of the resort, keeping systems, equipment, connectivity and user support running smoothly. The role suits someone who combines solid technical fundamentals with a service mindset and is comfortable helping colleagues and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to employees and departments, and assist users with hotel systems, applications, computers, printers, telephones, Wi-Fi and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, email, printers, POS terminals and user access issues; escalate unresolved issues to the IT Supervisor or service provider.
• Assist guests with internet access and in-room connectivity when required.
• Coordinate repair and return to service of faulty equipment, and help install, maintain and check daily key systems and work areas.
• Support system backups, data protection and emergency support processes, and follow security procedures to protect confidential information.
• Maintain IT records such as hardware inventory, software records, licenses, contracts, support logs and equipment documentation.
• Keep the IT office, storage and equipment inventory clean, organised and secure, and report faulty equipment to the IT Supervisor.
• Coordinate with vendors for deliveries, repairs and maintenance, and support IT needs for meetings, events and office setups.

Required profile

• Previous IT support, helpdesk or hospitality IT experience preferred; previous hotel or resort experience is an advantage.
• Good spoken and written English, strong attention to detail and confidentiality, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, printers, telephones and Wi-Fi.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, POS systems, key card systems, telephone systems or CCTV is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows and basic troubleshooting.
