Associate Director – Priority Banking

About the role

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Associate Director for Priority Banking in Dubai. You will lead strategic client relationship initiatives, develop new high‑net‑worth relationships, and manage a portfolio of affluent customers while driving digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development, aligning with the Digital Agenda.
• Generate new business to meet targets for customer numbers, volumes, revenue, and product mix.
• Onboard new-to-bank (NTB) customers sourced by branches and direct sales teams.
• Maintain sales MIS, handle customer complaints, and ensure high satisfaction and retention.
• Lead by example, foster a strong culture, and collaborate with risk and control partners.
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance, detect suspicious transactions, and adhere to anti‑bribery and financial crime policies.
• Obtain the SCA license within six months and complete continuous professional development requirements.

Required profile

• Experienced sales and relationship manager with a background in banking and investment products.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking abilities, especially within the UAE HNI community.
• Leadership skills that promote team spirit and a multicultural work environment.
• Good understanding of capital markets and financial planning.
• Either SCA certified or able to obtain certification within six months.
