Associate Relationship Officer - Community Banking

About the role

ADIB Group is hiring an Associate Relationship Officer in Dubai for its Community Banking coverage team. The role provides end-to-end operational and service support to the Regional Manager and assigned Relationship Managers, handling account opening, maintenance and service requests while keeping documentation accurate and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of account opening, maintenance and service requests for portfolio clients.
• Review and prepare documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk and other departments to deliver client requests on time.
• Support KYC/ODD updates, RIM alignments, licensing documentation and client profile maintenance.
• Handle routine client enquiries within agreed turnaround times and escalate complex issues; assist in complaint follow-up and resolution tracking.
• Monitor dormant/inactive accounts and expired licenses and signatories, and flag required actions to Relationship Managers.
• Track requests in CRM/BPM systems and follow up on pending cases.
• Escalate risks, documentation gaps or compliance concerns to the Regional Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience as an intern in customer service or administration, preferably in banking.
• Awareness of AML and compliance matters (training will be provided).
• Good time management, planning and organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
• Attention to detail and quality control mindset.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills, with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
• Computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
