Audit Associate

About the role

The Audit Associate supports the internal audit function by preparing and executing audit engagements for various clients. You will work closely with senior audit staff to ensure audit work is completed on time, accurately, and in line with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of the internal audit plan by completing assigned working papers.
• Prepare audit documentation, maintain supporting evidence, and organise work papers for reporting.
• Execute day‑to‑day audit activities, follow testing programs, and assess the design and operation of controls.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior team members.
• Interact with clients to facilitate efficient information flow.
• Report findings, provide recommendations for improvements, and ensure review notes are resolved.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Prepare weekly timesheets.
