AVP Internal Audit – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

The Senior Auditor will lead audit assurance activities focused on compliance for Citibank UAE, while also contributing to cross‑discipline audits. This role is open exclusively to UAE nationals and offers the chance to influence risk management and regulatory adherence across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Citibank UAE audits, draft audit reports, present findings and propose sustainable solutions.
• Monitor regulatory developments to ensure audit coverage meets current requirements.
• Conduct audit and regulatory issue validations, risk assessments, and business monitoring.
• Adhere to internal audit standards, policies, and regulatory requirements while meeting timelines and budgets.
• Apply professional judgement to evaluate risks, form conclusions and escalate significant risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes, including data analytics and AI tool usage.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to deepen business understanding.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of relevant audit or compliance experience.
• Solid understanding of compliance risk management and the regulatory environment.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA, ACAMS, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
