Business Assistant, Middle East

About the role

Nordic Investin Group is an investment and business group building and investing in companies in Europe and the Middle East, and is strengthening its presence in the region from Dubai. As Business Assistant for the Middle East, you work directly with the founder and help turn business opportunities and investment cases into real deals. You find, analyse and follow up opportunities across the region, making sure the most promising ones move forward. This is not a traditional assistant role: you think like a business developer, take initiative and own your work from first contact to finished case.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities, partners and investment cases in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf
• Analyse companies, markets and deals and summarise them into clear decision material
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, family offices, founders and advisers
• Prepare and follow up meetings, presentations and due diligence
• Keep track of the pipeline so that no opportunity is lost
• Support the group companies when they enter the Middle East market

Required profile

• Strong business sense and understanding of how deals are made
• Analytical, able to grasp a company, market or deal quickly
• Creative, proactive and able to handle several cases at once
• Fluent spoken and written English
• A background in finance, investment, consulting or business development is a plus
• A network in the Gulf region and Arabic are a plus
