Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel

About the role

FCM Travel, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Business Development Manager in Dubai. The role manages an extended sales cycle through networking, tender submissions and client relationship building, creating new business for the FCM brand. It suits someone who can communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities for the FCM brand
• Develop strategic plans and liaise with key stakeholders to create and close sales opportunities
• Achieve targets through lead generation, cold-calling, face-to-face appointments and networking
• Contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan
• Stay ahead of market trends and industry developments

Required profile

• Highly professional and strategically minded, patient and persistent across sometimes lengthy sales cycles
• Minimum 5 years' experience in business development within a corporate travel B2B environment (highly mandatory)
• Experience across the Middle East & Africa or GCC region is desired
• Knowledge of the tender process and ability to identify key decision-makers in large organisations
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
